# Me

The bits that aren't work: what I've had on repeat, the things I actually use, and whatever I've been writing.

No particular order, and no claim to good taste.

### iPhone 17 Pro Max

Since Sep 2025

Orange, powerful, and takes some amazing photos. As they say, 'the best camera is the one you have with you'. I really love this thing and am really going to struggle to give it up this year. I just wish the aluminium were a bit less delicate.

### iPad Pro

Since Oct 2025

A long overdue upgrade from my 2018, and so much faster. Haven't got a Magic Keyboard (yet) as trying to keep this as a touch-first interface.

### AirPods Max

Since May 2021

I have spent so many hours with these. They sound great, block out the world, and connect to whatever I need automatically.

### MacBook Pro 14

Since Dec 2023

Reliable, powerful, and my workhorse for work and creation, along with my portal to the rest of the world.

### AirPods Pro 3

Since Jan 2026

Blocking out the world has never been easier. These go with me everywhere, allowing me to control my stimulation and affect my mood, and connect to my favourite media - music.

### Pixel 9 Pro Fold

Since Sep 2024

I wanted to try the foldable life, and this felt the best way. It's a great size, and has some good software, but quite delicate.

### Terravia Mini Hip Pack 1L

This goes with me everywhere. It was my solution to my pockets always being full, and means I just grab one thing in the morning.

### MLC

My everyday bag. It has enough pockets that I can keep all my emergency items always in there (a raincoat, cables, a battery pack, wall plug, pens) and still has places to divide my iPad from my MacBook. It distributes the weight really well, is really water resistant (I don't worry even in very heavy downpours), has an external bottle pocket, and most importantly fits within RyanAir's strict carry-on requirements!

### Folding Wayfarers

Folding sunglasses are a game changer. They fit into so many more places (especially my hip pouch), which means they don't get lost.

### Attache

I'll never lose something if it's attached to me. That's the mantra anyway. I attach things I take off, or would otherwise place on the floor to me or my bag, and it'll definitely come with me when I leave. Plus, there's been so many times when just having a way of attaching something to something else comes in useful — whether that's to not lose it, or whether it's just security.

### BEVARA Sealing clip

I tried learning to fold packaging to seal it, but I never got there. These are the next best thing. Any food I don't finish gets a clip, and ensures it doesn't spill into my bag or pocket.

### Air75 v1

Being able to type quickly is important to me. I want to be able to record ideas and thoughts as quickly as I think of them. Tactility also helps with this, and the Nuphy is a really nice blend of macOS compatible, whilst having a unique design, and some nice features.

### Magic Trackpad 2

There is no better, nor more intuitive way to interact with a computer. The only downside is damp hands, or something conductive overlapping it.

### MX Creative Console

I'm very much a keyboard-shortcut person, but multi-step macros are where the power really is. Just wish Logi Options was less buggy.

### HomePod mini

The best speakerphone/mic for calls. Genuinely. Especially when you can just tap to transfer calls to it.

### Magic Keyboard with Touch ID and Numeric Keypad

This sits on my desk literally for the TouchID sensor and the numpad. Great as my secondary keyboard, but a bit tiring for long sessions.

### PowerPlay

I game less and less, but am still so impressed with this tech. Wireless, but never needing to be charged is genuinely amazing.

### G502

A great pairing with the PowerPlay. Ergonomic and responsive, with enough buttons to make sense. Just a bit light for general day-to-day use for me.
